Serving the least, the last, and the lost.
BCFI’s lawyer in the making, Antonio “Noto” Gobrin, is the program coordinator of Bless the Children Foundation, Inc. (BCFI). In his #BeBlessed story feature, he shares with us about his childhood dream and life goal of becoming a lawyer. True to BCFI’s values of commitment to serving the community, Kuya Noto plans to serve the least, the last, and the lost who were deprived of justice once he passes the bar exam.

Tell us about yourself.
I am Antonio Gobrin, Kuya Noto to many. I am the Program Coordinator of Bless the Children. I just joined the organization last April, but I have known and was planning to be a part of the Bless the Children family as early as 2019.
I met Ma’am Eunice in several events and meetings for children and we became acquaintances. I used to tease her that I want to join Bless the Children Foundation, Inc. She asked me to consider joining the organization when she learned that I am a Register Social Worker. I intended to join last 2019 but it did not materialize due to conflict of schedules with my law school. I finally decided to leave my previous job this year. After doing so, I informed Ma’am Eunice and she opened the doors of BCFI and welcomed me.
Can you tell us about your goals and dreams in life?
My primary goal right now is to finish my law school and pass the bar. Becoming a lawyer has been my ultimate dream as a kid.
Growing up, I was exposed to the harsh realities of life and how poor people’s rights are being violated by the very authority that should be protecting them. This is why I made a pact with the Lord that if with His grace I pass the bar, I will serve the least, the last, and the lost who were deprived of justice. I will also represent Women and Children victimized by abuses.
What is your #BLESSED story with BCFI?
I am grateful for the warm welcome by BCFI. I am thankful that they allow me to attend my classes on Saturdays despite the amount of activities and schedules during such days.

We will only live once. Let us be an agent of change.
It is a fundamental sin to live comfortably while ignoring the sufferings around us. So let us all work together in making this world a safe place for every child.
