Jhasmine is an 8-year-old girl. She was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus. Two weeks after she was born, she had seizure and sepsis. When she was four months old, her parents noticed that her head was gradually enlarging. They brought Jhasmine to the hospital to seek help about her condition. She was six months old when they discovered that Jhasmine has Hydrocephalus. Since then, Jhasmine could not walk because of poor physical health.

On 2015, Jhasmine started her physical therapy in Bless the Children Foundation. On that same year, she undergone a surgery called Shunt Insertion, in which a hollow tube surgically placed in the brain to help drain cerebrospinal fluid and redirect it to another location in the body where it can be reabsorbed. At the age of five, a high graded eye glasses were needed because she has double vision.

Jhasmine is currently studying as a 1st grader at Emilio Jacinto Elementary School. Jhasmine is a hardworking child as she keeps attending her physical therapy every day. Because of her dedication, she is showing great improvement in walking. She already knew how to balance when walking and can stand for at least fifteen minutes for the strengthening of muscles. In school, Jhasmine shows slow improvement because of poor memory. She easily forgets the things that her teacher taught. However, she still shows willingness to learn even though she is having a hard time.

Jhasmine is improving every single day and she is determined to make her condition better despite her age. She needs continuous support for her physical therapy to improve her walking ability as well as her educational needs for faster and better improvement on her overall well-being.
