Inauguration of Casa Soledad and Vicente

With the help of the John D.V Salvador Foundation, our organization was able to purchase two abreast properties in Gasangan, Baseco. These two properties were renovated and combined and will serve as our organization’s new sub-site building where our programs will take place.

Last June 23, 2022, in conjunction with Mr. Hugo Banziger and his wife’s visit, the building was formally introduced to the community, its partner organization, Bearhug Community Development Charity, volunteers, staff, and beneficiaries.

To start this grateful day, Reverend Father Emmanuel “Bok” Nicolas officiates the Holy Mass followed by the blessing of the building and unveiling of the building marker.

Before its renovation, BCFI has been using the building for its feeding program, CSG meetings, roll-out, and medical check-ups. Now that it’s officially open, there will be enough space for all the programs and activities BCFI plans to extend to Baseco community.
